CQWW 160m Part Time

I was able to steal a few hours from DL6ZBN who wanted to operate CQ WW 160m CW contest from “The Ranch DR4A”!

I started Saturday morning um 3:00z till about 7:30z and again from 15:00z till 22:00z for a total of 10 hours and 30 minutes. As for all CW contest my focus was on S&P and hit mults everytime there is something in the bandmap.

It worked!

Working muts sometimes its very hard – even some semi exotc mults like LX5MF or SV9 created huge pileups and you could not hear the dx station for minutes – only EU calling and calling and calling and ………..

The huge TX Vertical with top load is a pileup breaker and the choice of bereages USA, West, JA, East and a RX Vertical South helps a lot!!!!
