CQ WW CW 2019

After I was able to finish DL #1 and TOP 10 Europe in CQ WW CW 2018 I wanted to do it again!

The firs few hours felt very slow chasing down mults all the time with 100w on the low bands, but this is part of the game I think. I operated 100% S&P and If i ran out of mults I tried to work 3 Point QSOs instead of easy to pick EU stations. I think I managed to put a few more hours in than last yeat and the claimed score is about 10% up from last year. DXCC Mults went from 450 to above 500. That seems to be a good sign.

When I passed the 2 million point about 25 minutes before the end I decided to stop here. I was totally exausted and the last  20 QSOs have been very slow in the log. I hope that one does not fire back on me …..

Thanks again to Carsten DM9EE to let me use his superstation @ DX Hotel Holzminden. We put up a litle celebration at the end of the contest for breaking two million before going to bed.

I worked a classic DXCC 100 in the first 8 hours and added a some more during the contest summing up to 152.
