WW DIGI 2026 – LX7I
Here we go again, end of August and it is time for WW DIGI Contest.

Highly motivated to repeat the outstanding performance of almost 2000 QSOs from last year I started with the setup un friday befor the contest. Hardware and Antennas @ LX7I were all set and it was just a matter of setting up two remote PCs from home. Every thing went smooth and I could start on time as planned.
Two Laptops with SmartSDR and and a second 27′ screen for WSJT-X und the LX remote antenna switchning and PXGL monitoring. Max 500w out in FT8! The third PC was my normal station PC with two 27′ for N1MM, log compiling and all the other tasks.
The 65 inch on the wall was real time monitoring the propagation using PSKReporter Map!
Sometimes you wonder why noboddy is calling from the places you need?
Unfortunatly after a few hours it was clear that the propagation and the participation was way below 2025.
I had to took a short nap in the morning because I could not concentrate anymore and finished two hours earlier because of a small technical glitch I could not fix from here.
Overall the clickbait contest was fun!
