ICOM IC-2730 Fan mod
I have an ICOM IC-2730 in my shack for many years, but almost never used it. By default it has a very loud and anoying fan noise but there is a easy fix for less than 20€.
You just need to unscrew the bottom of the radio and remove the old fan by removing 4 very long screws. Swap it against the new Noctua fan. This is actually solder free!
