WW DIGI 2025 LX7I

Here we go again – WW DIGI 2025 – FT4 and FT8 Contest.

Thanks to Philippe who let me use his Superstation LX7I again. Eveything worked flawless.

I was higly motivated and spend quite some time for the setup.

Congratulations to Holger ZL3IO for the great score and the motivation. Looking at last years results I thougt the only way to compete is to get 900k or more. How to do this from europe?

Strong focus on FT4 for higher QSO rate.

Semi rare call in FT4/FT8. In 24h I never had a minute without callers.

I was totally amazed about the conx and the rates. It was the „perfect flow“ most of the time. I did not really belive that almost 2000 QSOs would be possible at all.

Most important lession: Only click the calls with locator!

The last few hours I stayed at FT8 instead of FT4 because I could no fully concentrate anymore and the slower rate helped me, but not the score.

If you asked me up to 24h after the contest:  Would you do this again? NO! I am still totally tiered.
