QSL Policy change for 2025
I was and I am still a big fan of paper QSL cards.
In 2025 I am licenced for 30 years now and I have sent out more than 100.000 QSL cards proactively for my personal callsign DF7EE and DF7ZS (old call).
The return rate via QSL Bureau is roughly about 50% and LotW is about the same! Boxes in my closet contain around 50.000 cards from all over the world and I have an album showing off the cards I needed to achieve honor roll status in 2022.
I have requested many many QSL cards direct sending green stamps or using OQRS lately and I am totally fine with this. Important QSO s or new band slots for my DXCC challenge almost never qsl via bureau. I thought it is time now for a policy change!
From 2025 onwards I will be happy to answer any QSL cards via bureau and I am happy to sent out cards requested by Clublog OQRS. I will NOT sent out any proactive QSLs cards anymore unless It is a call or card that is important to me. Feel free to request QSL cards via Clublog for my own call and also CQ3W, CT9/DF7EE e.t.c.
